About ADRC

The Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) initiative, is a collaborative effort between the local Area Agency on Aging (OC Office on Aging) and local Independent Living Center (Dayle McIntosh Center) to streamline access to long-term services and support. ADRC supports State efforts to develop “one-stop shop” centers in local communities that help older adults and individuals with disabilities make informed decisions about their service and support options and serve as the single point of entry in practice of the ‘No Wrong Door’ service model.

ADRC provides information and assistance to individuals needing public or private resources, professionals seeking assistance on behalf of their clients, and individuals planning for their future long-term care needs.

ADRCs target services to older adults and individuals with disabilities of all ages, including physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, mental/emotional disabilities, sensory disabilities, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, vision-related disabilities, hearing-related disabilities, etc.
